Engineering Open House 2017 – “Illuminate New Horizons”
The theme for the 2017 Engineering Open House (EOH), which was held March 10 – 11, was Illuminate New Horizons. EOH strives to create a more educated, science-oriented culture with the University of Illinois College of Engineering at the forefront of technological advancements. It aims to inspire the next generation of engineers and lay a foundation for engineering to become the key to solving future problems. EOH is a free annual student-led event featuring two days of exciting exhibits and captivating competitions that showcase the talent and ingenuity of engineering students. The exposition attracts thousands of visitors to the Illinois campus each year and stands as the largest event of its kind in the country.
